Useful answers to prepare your stay at Swiss Sweet Apartment.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM. Check-out is until 10:00 AM. Late arrival or late check-out may be possible upon request, depending on availability.
How many guests can stay in the apartment?
The apartment can accommodate up to 4 adults and 1 baby / young child. It has one queen-size bed and two single beds. The living room sofa is not an official sleeping place and is not included in the booking capacity.
Is the apartment suitable for children?
Yes. The apartment is suitable for families with children. A baby / child bed for children up to approximately 4 years old is available in the main bedroom. The apartment does not currently have a high chair.
Are linen, towels and beach towels included?
Bed linen and bath towels are included. One set is provided per person indicated in the reservation. Beach towels are not provided.
What equipment is available?
The apartment has an equipped kitchen, a washing machine with dryer function, high-speed Wi-Fi suitable for remote work, a TV with international channels and compatible apps such as Netflix, Spotify or Disney+, and reversible air conditioning in the main rooms.
Is there parking and an elevator?
Free parking is available in front of the building and throughout the residence, subject to availability. The building does not have an elevator.
Is a car necessary?
A car is not strictly necessary if you mainly wish to enjoy the beach, the apartment, the residence and nearby restaurants. However, a car is recommended if you want to explore the region more freely, do larger grocery shopping or visit Tirana, Durrës, Krujë or other places in Albania.
Which taxis or transport options can we use?
For longer trips, such as Tirana Airport – Apartment or Apartment – Tirana, you can contact Blue Taxi, available 24/7: WhatsApp / phone +355 69 444 4445. For local trips, such as Insifa Beach, Duka Winery or Durrës, you can contact the local taxi: WhatsApp / phone +355 67 274 4053. We recommend always confirming the price directly with the driver before departure.
Are there shops nearby?
Yes. There are shops and small grocery stores about 3 minutes away on foot or 1 minute by car. For larger grocery shopping, a car or taxi may be useful.
Are pets, parties and smoking allowed?
Pets are accepted upon prior request. Parties, noisy events and disturbances are not allowed. Smoking inside the apartment is not allowed; smoking is only permitted on the balcony, using an ashtray.
How far is the beach?
Lalzi Beach is approximately 5 minutes away on foot, depending on the route and the exact part of the beach you wish to reach.
Are sunbeds, umbrellas and Meliá access included?
No. Sunbeds, umbrellas and beach services are not included in the reservation. Meliá Resort facilities, including the pool, spa, beach club and the hotel’s private sunbeds, are not included either and may be subject to separate conditions or fees. As an indication, according to the latest information available in May 2026, sunbeds offered by some beach bars in the area were around EUR 10 per day and per sunbed. This price is not guaranteed and may change depending on the provider, season and location.
What are your favourite places around the apartment?
For a beach day with lunch or dinner by the water, we recommend Insifa Beach, Blu Blu Beach Bar, Cavalli Beach, Breeze by the Bay for pizzas, and the Meliá Hotel. For a drink or cocktail, Beach AMAR & OMER is a very good option, as are the beach bars mentioned above. In the evening, our favourites are Insifa Beach for seafood and pasta, and Duka Winery for dinner or a wine tasting in a more special setting. For both places, a car or taxi is recommended. Insifa Beach can also be reached on foot along the beach, but allow around 30 minutes.
For a cultural excursion, Krujë is a very nice option. For a city day with restaurants and bars, Tirana and the Blloku district are perfect. For restaurants, we particularly like Still Fish, Tartuf Shop and Ceren Ismet Shehu. For a drink, Millenium Garden is a good address. For an easier nearby outing, Durrës and the coast are a good choice.
Is there a deposit, and what is the cancellation policy?
No security deposit is required. Cancellation is free up to 14 days before arrival. However, any damage, broken item, missing item or excessive dirt may be charged after the stay. A minimum flat fee of EUR 50 may apply depending on the case.
How can I book directly and what assistance is available on site?
You can send us a request through the contact form on the website. We will then confirm availability, price and booking details. Dedicated on-site guest management will be available during your stay for practical or urgent matters. The on-site management details will be shared before arrival.
